Customer Reviews
This model was fun to put together and the final result was quite a nice little display piece. I have purchased many models from this supplier and the prices and customer service are excellent.

Hi Jim, we're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the assembly and found it rewarding! Thanks so much for your lovely review and support. Enjoy your steampunk butterfly!
I completed my gorgeous butterfly, and it was spectacular. I had a bit of trouble, once assembled, with the gears not meshing, each rotation and causing bucking. I discovered if I bent the preassembled vertical arm where the gears were, it solved the problem immediately. I think, perhaps, the factory- assembled brass arm had been bent a bit in transit. It works perfectly now!! The movement is smooth and creates a very realistic gentle flutter of the wings. I ordered a second butterfly kit and gave the finished product to elderly neighbors who were beyond appreciative and enchanted. It is a beautiful kit!
Very good
