Easy one!
I completed my gorgeous butterfly, and it was spectacular. I had a bit of trouble, once assembled, with the gears not meshing, each rotation and causing bucking. I discovered if I bent the preassembled vertical arm where the gears were, it solved the problem immediately. I think, perhaps, the factory- assembled brass arm had been bent a bit in transit. It works perfectly now!! The movement is smooth and creates a very realistic gentle flutter of the wings. I ordered a second butterfly kit and gave the finished product to elderly neighbors who were beyond appreciative and enchanted. It is a beautiful kit!
